In the Night photo walks, you will use photographic techniques and long exposures that will allow you to explore artificial and natural light and photograph at different London locations at dusk and different levels of darkness. You will explore your creativity by taking photos using long exposures and will capture moving subjects with light trails. During the sessions, you will develop skills and create interestingly composed photographs; you will also explore the possibilities of ‘painting with light’. Our enthusiastic and experienced tutor will provide feedback and great tips for night photography and will take you to some great locations where you can practice photographing in the dark.
This is a practical course. You will learn actively and will practice the demonstrated skills during the sessions. Your tutor will continuously support you.
In order to join the course, you should have a good understanding of the basics of photography in terms of ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
This course is suitable to those who have a passion for photography and in particular night photography.
You will need a DSLR (or mirrorless) camera that will allow you access to manual controls. You will also need a tripod
