What you will learn

A one day taster for beginners exploring making a figure in clay and trying life sculpture techniques of measuring and observing from a life model. Basic materials included. Open to all levels especially Beginners. Existing Term Life Sculpture students can also use this course to Complete work.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explore making a figure in clay
  • Learn and practice techniques of measuring and observing from a life model
  • Learn and practice clay modelling techniques and handling of clay for firing in the kiln.
  • Practice Health and Safety studio and clay techniques as guided by your tutor
  • Returning students from Life Sculpture term courses practice life sculpture techniques and complete work.
