What you will learn

The Northern Line, once nick-named the “Misery Line”,will open a new section south of the river in 2021. This line boasts many unique facts including: the longest underground tunnel, the deepest station (Hampstead) the longest escalator (Angel),the shallowest lift (Chalk Farm), and it serves the most southerly station (Morden). This series of walks will explore the hinterland of eight stations, four north and four south of the Thames.

    The course will be a series of two hour walks, all starting and finishing near public transport. Each session will be a walk of approximately two hours
