What you will learn

The Northern Line, once nick-named the “Misery Line”, will open a new section south of the river in 2021. This line boasts many unique facts including: the longest underground tunnel, the deepest station (Hampstead) the longest escalator (Angel), the shallowest lift (Chalk Farm), and it serves the most southerly station (Morden). This series of walks will explore the hinterland of eight stations, four north and four south of the Thames. This series of live walks will explore the following areas along the Northern Line.

    The course will include the following walks: 21 September, 2021 Golders Green 28 September, 2021 Belsize Park 5 October, 2021 Archway 12 October, 2021 Old Street 19 October, 2021 HALF TERM 26 October, 2021 Waterloo 2 November, 2021 Elephant & Castle 9 November, 2021 Battersea Power Station 16 November, 2021 Stockwell The course will be a series of two hour walks, all starting and finishing near public transport.
