What you will learn

In this course we will use cutting edge digital techniques to produce an item of jewellery that you will be able to keep. Having introduced you to the basics of jewellery design, we will use Blender, which is 3D computer modelling software increasingly used professionally across industry and the arts. The software is free and opensource, and so is a fantastic way to start learning the valuable skills needed to get started in this exciting field of design. Once you have modelled your piece we will use a 3D printer in our 3D design studio in Chelsea, to build your model in wax, teaching you the principals of 3D printing along the way. Once printed we will use the lost wax process to cast you model in alloy in our specialist jewellery studio in North Kensington
