    The course will be delivered using spoken and written forms, and other tools including powerpoint slides and interactive presentation. The teacher also uses Moodle VLE to support online learning. During the lesson students will interact using group or pair work, quizzes, games etc. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e. progression to an advanced- level course.g short text Following, preparing and giving simple presentations Listening for the gist or basic information Revising on topics (e.g. vocabulary) and grammar points

    Entry requirements

    You should be able to read Hiragana and write some. You should know basic greeting phrases and be able to introduce your self including nationality and occupation. Also you should know the basic phrases for shopping including numbers.

    What you need to know before you enrol

    Excellent attendance and punctuality is required from all students. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class. You will be expected to access online resource, Moodle VLE to do your weekly homework.
