What you will learn

This course is for students who completed Japanese Proficiency Unit 1 at Morley college. You will study not only everyday-Japanese language but also understand the Japanese way of thinking and sense of seasons. You can build your proficiency in Japanese across all four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.

    The course will be delivered using spoken and written forms, as well as other tools including powerpoint slides and interactive presentation. The teacher also uses Microsoft Teams to support online learning. During the lesson students will interact using group or pair work, quizzes, games etc.

    Entry requirements

    You should have completed the grammar points of Minna no nihongo Book 2. You should read and write approx. 500 Kanji. You should also be able to listen to and understand medium speed conversations encountered in daily life.

    What you need to know before you enrol

    Excellent attendance and punctuality is required from all students. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class. You will be expected to access online resource Microsoft Teams to do your weekly homework.
