Italian Stage 3 Unit 1
What you will learn
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Read texts from different sources at GCSE level and above and extract relevant information
- Discuss and give your opinion on different topics, including places of interest in Italy
- Write short passages on topics of interest (minimum 75 words)
- Consolidate descriptions of present/past events, and start to use the conditional tense
Class format and activities
Practise speaking, listening, reading and writing Learning through practical activities. Complete grammar exercises. Revise topics (e.g. vocabulary) and grammar points, but expand. Learn some cultural aspects of Italy and places of interest.
This course is aimed at students who have studied at Stage 2 or have studied Italian for 2 years
What you need to know before you enrol
Excellent attendance and punctuality is required from all students. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class time. This course will be delivered as a Hybrid class. Students can choose if they wish to study remotely online or in centre at the Waterloo branch.

Text book will be discussed and confirmed with students at the start of the course. Please have pen, paper and folder, and dictionary paper or app on phone.
