Planning a trip to Italy? This beginner-friendly course is designed to equip you with essential Italian phrases and vocabulary for everyday travel situations. From ordering at restaurants to navigating public transport and asking for directions, you’ll gain the confidence to communicate effectively and make the most of your Italian adventure. No prior knowledge of Italian required—just a passion for travel and a willingness to learn!
You will get clear guidance and ongoing, regular, and informal feedback from your tutor, in a friendly and supportive environment. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course, you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals.
No formal qualifications are necessary, no knowledge of the Italian language is required.
This course is tailored for beginners with no prior knowledge of Italian. If you have some background in the language, you might find certain content to be a review. Regular attendance and participation are crucial for language acquisition. Additionally, setting aside time for practice and review outside of class will enhance your learning experience.
All necessary materials will be provided. However, bringing a notebook or digital device for note-taking is recommended.
