The course will be delivered online through video lessons on Google Meet. The tutor uses Google Classroom to post material from the previous lesson and help you prepare for the forthcoming one. You will improve your confidence and fluency in Italian by reading and discussing extracts from newspaper articles and literary texts as well as by watching TV programmes and film excerpts and listening to authentic audio materials. You will also consolidate complex grammatical structures and widen your range of vocabulary and language registers. The focus will be on practising your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as preparing and giving presentations on topics of your interest. You will take part in whole group/small group/ and pair discussions, reading and summarising authentic texts both orally and in writing and becoming more comfortable with a range of tenses, structures and vocabulary. In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
