What you will learn

Join this unique course the first of its kind, where you will discover your creativity by walking, exploring nature, Architecture & meeting interesting people which will stimulate your creativity in the classroom. Taught by R. Rubio an Interior Architect who wants to share with you her expertise with distinctive activities that will increase relaxation, develop an appreciation of your surroundings, learn and gain inspiration to create. This course aims to create a series of activities where you will explore your creativity and develop interesting work. Every session is different and at end of the class you will have a completed work. You will learn to be experimental when you draw, paint, make objects to contemplate or to wear, and design spaces to live in etc. We will visit relevant places in London, visits exhibitions and events etc. for inspiration. The course will allow you to find the pathway to explore further your creativity. It could be in Art, Interior Design Architecture or Crafts. This course is the equivalent of one unit of a Level 1 Qualification in Art & Design. It will build a small portfolio to progress into further courses or employment.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • ou will learn how to look and analyse the Art, Design, Architecture, inside and outside spaces.
  • To develop a formal piece of Design and Art
  • Draw, paint, take photographs with your mobile, and make prototypes for sculptures, objects to wear, Interiors etc.
  • Participate in a group exhibition where you will be able to sell your work

    You will gain the skills and build your confidence by leaning from demonstrations, talks, group discussion, creative thinking, visit relevant events and exhibit your work. Assessment Method:In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback (verbal & in writing) from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment. Materials:A series of different tools and materials will need to be purchased for the course. The list of materials will be provided during the induction day. The Design studio is well equipped for the students to use.
