What you will learn

You have passed your Entry 2 exams or understand and use English at a strong intermediate level. You read and write in your language and use the Roman alphabet. In this class, you develop your English and prepare for exams., This class takes place at the Stockwell Centre, 1 Studley Rd, London SW4 6RA, behind Stockwell Underground station.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • follow spoken and written instructions
  • present information and detail for a given task and audience
  • plan action with others for a given task

You will: - work individually, in pairs and in groups to develop language skills and confidence. - practise listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. - use the internet and other technology to develop language skills. - prepare for exams.

What you can do next

The teacher will advise you on the next step. this term, you will prepare for the Entry 3 Speaking and Listening exam. In Term 3, you will prepare for the Entry 3 Reading and Writing exams. If you progress successfully, you can enrol on the Bridging to ESOL Level 1 course or the ESOL Level 1 course in the next academic year.
