What you will learn

Beginners and intermediate students learn a variety of technical and experimental approaches to working from the model, still life and landscape.

  • Work confidently from the model or from a still life
  • Set an objective for a piece of work and assess its merits/shortcomings
  • Experiment with techniques and ideas creatively and imaginatively
  • Outline an awareness of line, form, colour and composition in your work
  • Use a variety of painting and drawing materials
