This short course aims at providing students with skills and guidelines in order to develop a short photographic project, from the initial idea to execution. Through discussion and reflection students will be able to develop a concept for a photographic project and use the appropriate photographic techniques to achieve a series of strong photographs. By learning how to work methodically, students will have the possibility of creating a coherent body of work. With the feedback and guidance of an experienced tutor they will be inspired and encouraged to find their strengths and solve encountered problems. Photographic, editing and presentation techniques will be covered in this course.
This is a hands-on course and will be delivered in Chelsea Centre. You will learn actively and will practice the demonstrated skills during the sessions with continuous support and feedback by the tutor.
In order to join the course, you should have a good understanding of the basics of photography in terms of ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
The course is suitable to those who have a good understanding of basic camera skills and a passion for photography
You will need a DSLR, or mirrorless camera that allows access to manual controls.
