Embark on a captivating journey into the world of Camera less photography where you will experiment with cyanotype and chemigram techniques. Perfect for beginners and photography enthusiasts alike, this course offers a hands-on exploration of two distinct yet equally engaging processes that will liberate you from the constraints of traditional photography. The course will cover the basics of chemistry, coating techniques, exposure methods and experimentations with varied materials to create your own cyanotypes. It will also cover the creation of chemigrams by using materials such as household items, chemicals, and resist techniques. During the course you will have the opportunity to explore the limitless possibilities of abstract imagery by manipulating light and chemicals to produce unpredictable compositions. You will share your creations and will gain valuable feedback and insights from fellow participants. By the end of this course, you will be able to work independently to create cyanotype and chemigram prints at home.

    This is a hands-on practical course and will be delivered in our well-equipped B&W wet darkroom in Chelsea Centre. You will learn actively and will practice the demonstrated skills during the sessions with continuous support by the tutor.
