In this course, you will be expected to build a portfolio of 3 songs or more that is suitable for your voice type and level and that you can use for auditions and/or concert performance. You are invited to bring along one aria/song of your own choice in the first session. Further choice of repertoire can be decided in consultation with the tutor. The course is in masterclass setting and at the start of each session, participants are allocated equal timeslots to work with the tutor. During each slot, the rest of the group is invited to participate in peer feedback, questions and answers, and occasional group exercises. You will receive regular feedback from tutor, accompanist and peers, alongside advice on further repertoire. The sessions on 23 April, 14 May and 4 June will focus on drama coaching by stage director Will Kerley.
