What you will learn

An ideal work-shopping class for students with writing experience who want peer feedback on work-in-progress (prose, scripts, short stories and novels). The primary aim is for students to receive considered feedback on their work in progress - alongside identifying strengths and areas for development.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Exercise a greater critical and analytical response to texts
  • Apply the conclusions of the analysis of the class to your own work
  • Consider when necessary to make that decision

    Reading your work and responding to the critical response of the class and tutor; listening to the work of other writers and responding to that with your own analysis.

    You should have a body of work behind you and be an experienced writer.

    This is not a course for beginners but for those with a passion for creative writing and ideally with work in progress. Unpublished writers very welcome.
