Dance Improvisation Workshop 2B
What you will learn
This short-course study working with differing improvisatory techniques will help you explore the creative spontaneity of your movement.
Drawing on a range of practices including somatic awareness - emphasising internal physical perception, and the sharing of interactions with other
dancers - in-the-moment, this course promotes the pleasure of natural discovery.
We will work on music improvisation and will also explore the improvisation technique, that Pina Bausch used to create material for her pieces.
By the end of the course you will be able to
- Understand various tools to divide movement and use them for improvisation
- Move in the moment without judgement or restriction
- Explore your individual way of moving and find your inner self through movement
- Share your movements and ideas with others in an open and supportive environment
