What you will learn
This practical, hands-on short course will focus on key skills and techniques required for conducting successful negotiations. The delegates will get an opportunity to practise their newly acquired skills in class with expert guidance from the presenter.
Class format and activities
Our behaviours affect each other and everyone has a unique way of communicating. By using effective negotiation skills you can change your communication style to meet the needs of the listener.
Topics discussed in the class will include:
* how to build rapport
* problem solving
* decision making
* settling differences
* emotional control
* collaboration and teamwork.
Learners will practise their negotiation skills in class with fellow students under tutor guidance.
In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
To enrol on this course you have to be aged 19 or above.
There are no specific entry requirements; however, to get the most out of your class you should have a good working knowledge of written and spoken English.
