What you will learn

This short course in printmaking is a practical studio based programme and combines structured teaching and informal workshop time.

By the end of the course you will be able to

  • You will learn to work in the light and the well-equipped print studio with specialist facilities and develop your ideas and imagery while gaining a good overview of the Drypoint and Monoprinting techniques.

What you need to know before you enrol

The Printmaking Studio is at the Morley Chelsea Centre, Hortensia Road SW10 in the Carlyle building, room CG05 on the ground floor.

What you will need for your class

You need to bring: some art equipment such as pencils, eraser, a range of brushes, stanley/craft knife. There is a studio fee of £4.50 payable to the tutor which covers basic materials, except paper and plates which you pay extra for as you use them. All materials are available to buy in the studio.
