Develop your ability to put harmonic concepts into practice at the keyboard. This course is ideal for those tackling the higher music theory grades (Grades 6-8) as well as for those who want to develop their general musicianship. By the end of the course you will be able to

  • Construct seventh chords in major keys
  • Understand and apply principles of voice-leading to seventh chord progressions
  • Play from a variety of notations, including chord symbols, Roman numerals and figured bass
  • Transpose material to a variety of keys
  • Develop understanding of key relationships and modulation
