What you will learn
An introduction to the art of storytelling with the leading practitioner Eli Anderson. Develop your creative, as well as, emotive and playful approach to your delivery.
By the end of the course you will be able to
- Understand and apply techniques of delivery that will ensure an audience are "with you", from start to finish.
- Critically assess the quality of a story and make informed choices about the best environment for its telling.
- Develop critical skill in appraising each other and learn the skills of constructive and supportive feedback.
Class format and activities
Listening to a master storyteller - assessing the key techniques involved
Developing your own practice through actual storytelling, reflection and adjustment
Examining & considering the art of storytelling through history, different cultures and mediums
Constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor will help you succeed during the class.
