The final term of the academic year is fast approaching and our Access to Fashion students are busy completing their portfolios and designs to showcase at the catwalk show on Friday 24 June.
Students are also busy with university applications. Offers are still coming in but we are proud of the breadth of offers already received by many of our students. Offers received from universities include:
- Central Saint Martins
- London College of Fashion
- Wimbledon College of Art
- University of Edinburgh
- University of East London
- Middlesex University
- plus many more
Students will be going on to study a wide variety of Fashion related subjects from Fashion Marketing and Business, Fashion Illustration, Theatre and Screen Costume Design and Bespoke Tailoring to name a few.
Speaking to one student Miku Okita, who has been accepted onto two different courses at the London College of Fashion (Bespoke Tailoring and Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Innovation), she says “the Access to Fashion covers a wide range of areas within fashion, giving you an overall view. You gain knowledge and skills in things like illustration, pattern cutting, studio photography. The projects allow you to link everything together and also gives you a chance to think about what you would like to specialise in.”
The application process is now open for our 2016/17 Access to Fashion course along with all our Access Diplomas. Discover our full range of courses and how they could take you on the path to university.
Our Access to Fashion students are completing their year’s work with many of them now accepting offers to top universities around the UK.

text: All the tutors are amazing! Things like that are said a lot but it’s true…
The tutors try to help you find your own strengths and your style, while helping
you to work on things you’re not confident in.
