His work draws upon his previous experience in Fine Art and he is interested in exploring fresh ways of presenting photographs: from the gallery, in books, via site-specific installation and through the use of sound and text.

Steve is fascinated with the potential for the photographic image to reach a limitless audience in the digital age, and is an avid fan of blogging. He says :“No matter how long one has been taking photographs, or how technically savvy one learns to be, the photographic image still has the power to delight, surprise, move and mystify. It’s what keeps me shooting: hoping to make a great image; one with qualities that push me towards new areas of discovery.”
