Annette was born and raised in a small village in northern Germany, and after travelling extensively, finally settled in London in 1997. She has been working at Morley College since 2003, and mainly teaches the more advanced German courses. Although a qualified secondary school teacher, adult education has become her main area of expertise and she finds the exchange between learner and teacher very rewarding.
Accredited by the Institute of Linguists, Annette is also a qualified translator and loves anything to do with language. She has taught students from a variety of different backgrounds and levels of ability - from total beginners up to conversation and literature classes – and has come to realise that enjoyment is one of the key factors when learning a language.
