Adam is a published novelist and short story writer, and regularly reviews fiction for the national press.
Adam spent a number of years in the television industry as a Producer/Director of documentaries. Adam recently completed a PhD at the University of London exploring the interface between literature and psychology, and is involved in research projects in this area at the Universities of York and Edinburgh. In addition to teaching creative writing in a range of adult education contexts, including prisons, he has taught at Royal Holloway College, University of London and the University of Westminster. He particularly enjoys adult education teaching for the diversity of the students. In addition to teaching, Adam also occasionally plays viola in the Morley Chamber Orchestra.
