Sarah King Turko
Sarah King is an artist jeweller working with materials, form and structure to make sculptural, contemporary, yet feminine jewellery. The finished pieces have a sensual form and elements of playfulness.
Sarah pioneered the use of bioresin in jewellery in 2000. It is an eco material of sophisticated chemistry made from sunflower seed oil. Her refined sense of form belies the technical challenges of working in resins. Her hollow spatial forms in bioresin, silver and laser welded gold have become signature pieces.
Her work has featured in public collections in Germany, UK and USA, and many publications on contemporary jewellery. Last year she was invited to exhibit at the annual Loot event at Museum of Art & Design, New York.
