Programme Manager: Languages
Yolanda Fernandez

Yoli was born and raised in southern Spain. Although she completed a degree in English Philology whilst in Spain, it was not until she came to England in the mid 90s that she properly learnt the importance and benefits of communicating in a second language. Yoli has been teaching Spanish and cultural studies at several institutions in London since 1997, including City Lit, Open University, Royal Holloway University of London and City University.

After performing some managerial jobs, she arrived at Morley College to work as a Programme Manager in the languages department. She very much enjoys its diversity and richness in terms of the wide range of the content of the courses offered and the students who attend them.
