Gabriele is an actor, theatre-maker and movement practitioner from Milan, Italy. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in London, firstly as an actor on the Collaborative and Devised Theatre strand, and latterly as a movement teacher, graduating with an MA in Movement Directing and Teaching.
Gabriele's practice integrates various forms: Lecoq, Viewpoints, Qi-Gong, Yoga, and the Michael Chekhov Technique. Gabriele holds these and other approaches together in the belief that acting and movement are inseparable aspects of the same creative process.
As a performer, Gabriele has worked on ensemble-based projects by devising new work as part of a collaborative process. Companies he has collaborated with include Curious Directive, Out of Inc, Page One Theatre, and PIGDOG. In 2016, he co-founded Vantage Point Theatre where performed as well as co-wrote and co-directed the ensemble’s original work. Gabriele has worked as a movement and voice tutor at Morley College, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Brian Timoney Actors' Studio, and separately as an Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga Instructor.
