Gabriella de Folco
Gabriella has 25 years of invaluable knowledge and experience in teaching languages (in particular Italian and Spanish), as well as designing and organizing new courses for general and specific purposes, in adult education (WAES, Lewisham Community Education, Bromley Adult Education, etc.), companies (Bank of Scotland, Cirio Del Monte, Tfl and the Department of Education, Ministry of Justice, etc.), colleges (Morley, Lewisham and Southwark College), private school (Box Hill School), and SOAS University. She has worked as an external examiner for Goldsmith’s University and is been working as an examiner for different examining boards, and as an interpreter.
Gabriella has gained a Master Degree in Applied Language Studies (Westminster University), a PGCE (Institute of Education), City and Guilds 730 stage 1 and 2, and a Certificate in Teaching a Foreign Language to Adults (Goldsmith’s University).
The methods and strategies she uses to teach are based on how the brain actually learns and remembers languages. These exciting and dynamic strategies are based her experience in teaching, with a healthy dose of humour, practice sessions, and student interaction make any of her courses immediately useful and immensely practical.
