At Morley College London, we provide long-term, sustainable and affordable programmes of lifelong learning across three centres – North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo – including 16-18 provision at North Kensington and Chelsea.

As one of only nine Institutes of Adult Learning in the UK, we serve more than 13,000 students through a coherent, student-centred course offer, underpinned by our Mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities through education in Arts, Culture and Applied Sciences.

We are looking to appoint a Gallery Manager and Exhibitions Curator to lead and manage Morley College London’s Gallery and exhibition spaces across the college network in order to support and promote the achievement of students and to widen access to arts and culture for our diverse audiences. With the college currently undertaking a £1M investment in redeveloping the Gallery at the Waterloo Centre to improve facilities and improve accessibility, this is an exciting time to take up this role.

Leading a team of staff and volunteers, you will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver exhibitions and public programmes across the College’s three centres, will maintain the Colleges art collection and work to promote the College’s profile.

With experience of initiating and delivering ambitious exhibitions, displays and learning related projects involving artists, students and diverse collaborators, you will have excellent organisation, and project management skills. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with experience of leading and motivating a team and developing successful partnerships.
