Morley College London is a specialist designated adult education college located in Waterloo. This is an early career opportunity for an emerging stage director to gain voluntary experience as an assistant director and stage manager at the Morley Opera School. The role aims to provide assistance to the various visiting directors who work with our students, to rehearse and develop performances each term and deliver stage management duties during rehearsals and performance week.
Hours: Wednesdays and Thursdays 18:30 – 21:30, and Saturdays 13:30 – 16:30. Also, attend all or most of the production rehearsals (Weeks 4-10), as well as the entire production week of each term.
Skill & Qualifications required:
- A highly motivated individual interested in working professionally as a Director or Assistant Director or Stage Manager in Opera
- Ability to follow written music
- Organised and efficient with good attention to detail
- Strong communicator
