Our response to COVID-19

Creating a safe environment for learning
Following advice from the UK Government, Morley College London’s buildings remain closed or open only by exception (e.g. for essential service staff) until we commence our Summer Shorts programme on Monday 13 July 2020.

Online and onsite learning options
Morley College London is offering learning opportunities both online and in our three centres in North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo.
Some courses are delivered exclusively online; others have around 20% of in-centre contact time too. This means you can choose a learning style that suits you. Read more about the different options available by clicking this link.
Learning as a response to the pandemic
As the world adapts to life with COVID, there has never been a more important time to learn: to reskill, to upskill or to enjoy the social and personal benefits of studying something you love.
We are working on a range of learning opportunities that help you discover your own ‘new normal’ in a fast-changing world. We will publish these in summer 2020.
Our ongoing response
The steps we have taken to minimise disruption to students’ learning include:
- Adapting face-to-face delivery to online learning wherever possible, effective from Monday 23 March 2020.
- All students on 16-18 and 19+ Accredited learning (courses which lead to qualifications) are being supported in their learning online using Moodle, Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams, with use of Morley Radio to also listen to podcasts. Accredited learning will continue within the published term dates, but online.
All college events scheduled in the immediate future are postponed until further notice unless they can be delivered in an adapted form online.
