Textile Foundation

The Textile Foundation Course is a part time one-year course running on Mondays and Tuesdays from September to the middle of June. It is suitable for students, who would either like to progress to a degree in Textiles, or other Art & Design discipline, or for students who simply wish to study textiles intensively for a year, with a view to developing their own work for commission or exhibitions etc.

Research
plays a vital role in all the projects during the year.  Sketchbook use is encouraged from the start, with museum and current exhibitions viewed as an integral component of the course.

An exhibition in the Morley Gallery will be the climax of the course.
