"I heard about Morley by word of mouth – my housemate's sister had taken a course there and sung its praises to me.
Having researched colleges that did massage courses, I found Morley's to be the most satisfactory. I was attracted by the thoroughness of the syllabus for in comparison to other colleges' courses.
After meeting a few of the tutors at the open day I trusted that the course would have the student's best interests at heart. I also liked the wide variety of days and times when you could attend, which was important so that I could fit the course around my full-time job.
The subject has fascinated me as it relates to us all and you really feel as if you are learning something new and useful. The tutors' enthusiasm goes a long way in making the lessons enjoyable and bringing the subject to life.
I have enjoyed making friends the like-minded people I have met on my course. Learning a new skill that can not only benefit you and others around you, but also make a career out of is fantastic - not forgetting the enjoyment factor of getting a free massage every week!
I have been supported in my learning by Morley Moodle, a virtual learning environment for the College's courses. I can access course notes, videos and use the forums to chat with students and staff. There is also library which contains books on every subject the College offers too.
New possibilities have been opened up to me through knowing about the College, with loads of courses I would love to do. I am planning to start a Reflexology course to build on my complementary therapy skills. It feels organised and I trust that Morley have employed the best tutors there for the job.
Morley has a lovely atmosphere: the College is for people of all ages. There is no feeling that you are too young or old to be there, but instead a real feeling of equality".
