Tim Taylor, Section Head of Dance at Morley, will be performing a new piece by choreographer Jacky Lansley at the Royal Opera House's Clore Studio later this week.

Tim is one of several guest dancers invited to perform as part of Guest Suites, a new collaborative work by director and choreographer Jacky Lansley and composer Jonathan Eato.

Central to Guest Suites is the idea of artists 'guesting' in each others worlds, bringing together musicians, artists and actors to explore the relationship between different art forms and classical and contemporary performance. Inspired by Bach's Cello Suites, the musical elements of the piece will feature performances by cellist Audrey Riley, historic recordings of Pablo Casals, and cello and electronics permformed by Riley and Eato.

Tim has broad experience as an interdisciplinary artist, and has worked within genres including drama, dance, musical theatre, comedy and song recital. To date he has worked with a number of performing arts practicioners, and collaborated with Jacky Lansbury on a similar project last year. He says: "Building on my experience of working with Jacky Lansley on Guest Project in 2011, this recent collaboration provides a fantastic opportunity to integrate dance and acting skills within the context of a dance nd music theatre event."

The world premiere of Guest Suites will take place on 17 & 18 February at the prestigious Royal Opera House's Clore Studio. There will be a post-show talk on 17 February. For further information and to book tickets visit the Royal Opera House website.
