Morley art collection available online

A selection of pieces from Morley's art collection is now available to view online as part of the BBC's Your Paintings project.

The project was set up with the aim of showcasing and cataloguing the UK's entire national oil painting collection, and has currently made over 104,000 oil paintings available to view online via their website.

The collection features works currently found in galleries, public buildings, national organisations and charities, and includes pieces by famous artists as well as those lesser-known.

There are currently eight of Morley Colleges artworks within the collection, including paintings by John Piper, Ruskin Spear, Julian Trevelyan, Bridget Riley, Kathleen Allen, Robert Medley and Maggi Hambling. Further artworks may be added in due course.
