Festival date for top milliner

Millinery tutor Isabelle Mazzitelli has been invited to give a talk at Bridport Hat Festival on the cocktail hat.

Isabelle Mazzitelli, who is teaching several millinery courses at Morley, will be discussing the history and key designers of this type of hat at Bridport Hat Festival on Saturday 15 September.

She will be making it abundantly clear that cocktail hats are not fascinators – the two are as different as chalk and cheese, or as Isabelle puts it "champagne and flat coke".

Now in its third year, Bridport Hat Festival takes place over the weekend of 14-16 September with a selection of trade stands, workshops, talks and entertainment.

    This looks really interesting; this will be the third Bridport Hat Festival & it is always great fun with a fantastic atmosphere.
