Our sculpture courses comprise of students from various backgrounds, experiences and approaches producing sculptural work in a variety of materials, techniques and craftsmanship, reflecting the talent and creativity of Morley’s adult learners.

This exhibition represents work made by learners who have just started this year (Beginners) through to Advanced Learners in the Exploring Sculpture and Life Sculpture classes.

The hand sculptures are an example of the first clay project given to new students:

Modelling in clay, create a sculpture inspired by an expressive composition of your own hand. You may choose to interpret the image in a more simplified manner, emphasize certain forms or textures and/or tell a story.
