Getting into the French design market; using cultural knowledge

On December 9th 20009, David Stringer-Lamarre, Director of Development and Barry Tomalin, Senior Trainer Morley London, spoke at a UK Trade & Investment organised international business event.
David and Barry talked about the central importance of understanding French business culture. The UKTI seminar was focused upon British creative industry companies with design led products. The emphasis was placed upon the importance of understanding business cultures and using this knowledge not only as a market entry tool, but also as a competitive advantage. If companies understand their potential clients this is a very good platform to base a future business relationship upon.
Representing UKTI Sophie de Bodisco from the British embassy in Paris presented upon the French economy and opportunities in the creative industries sector for London companies.
