Latin Music Courses at Morley College
Latin Piano and Percussion (Course code: MJP010A, Dates: Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm from 14th September)
This fun, practical and hands-on course will enable you to understand the dynamic role of the piano in Afro-Cuban/Afro-Brasilian music, with a focus on rhythmic development. You will also learn basic Afro-Cuban percussion/patterns to accompany one another in class and get a taste of playing in a latin ensemble. Come explore Salsa, Mambo, Cha-cha-cha, Bolero and more (no experience of latin music necessary whatever your musical background)! Tutor: Sara Dhillon (see Staff for further details)
