Morley is a friendly, open and inclusive College and we are proud of the Learning Support we offer students. At the College’s most recent Ofsted inspection (2011) our Additional Learning Support service was singled out as “outstanding”.
Who do we support?
- All students with disabilities or learning difficulties such as dyslexia can come to Learning Support for advice. We invite students in for an initial assessment with a specialist from the department.
- Following this assessment, we work with your class tutors to support you in the most appropriate way.
- We also work with our Premises team to make movement throughout the buildings easier.
- All of our on-going one-to-one and in-class support is provided for students with learning difficulties and disabilities on our range of accredited courses in English, Maths, ESOL and on Access to Higher Education courses.
Where can I find the Learning Support team?
You can find us just across the road from the main College building, on the ground floor of the Nancy Seear building. This is the yellow building next to the Gallery in King Edward Walk. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, and at other times by appointment.
To find out more about how we may be able to help you contact us on 020 7450 1914 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. For contact details for individual members of the Learning Support team visit our Staff page.
Morley College has been awarded a Matrix accreditation following a visit by an external assessor. The Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for information, advice and guidance on learning and work.
