Morley is a friendly, open and inclusive College and we are proud of the Learning Support we offer students. At the College’s recent Ofsted inspection (2011) our Additional Learning Support service was singled out as “outstanding”.
Who do we support?
- All students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia or disabilities can come to Learning Support for advice. We invite students in for an initial assessment with a specialist from the department.
- Following this assessment, we work with your class tutors to support you in the most appropriate way.
- We also work with our Premises team to make movement throughout the buildings easier.
- The vast majority of our on-going one-to-one and in-class support is provided for students with learning difficulties and disabilities on our range of accredited courses in literacy, numeracy, ESOL and Access to Higher Education.
Where can I find the Learning Support team?
You can find us just across the road from the main College building, on the ground floor of the Nancy Seear building. This is the yellow building next to the Gallery in King Edward Walk. Our office is open Monday to Friday during office hours.
