Are you a budding Byron, Betjeman or Barrett Browning? Why not enter our poetry competition, open to all students and members of staff at Morley College?

Poems must be entered into one of the two categories below. You may enter as many poems as you wish.

Voices of Morley

Find a voice either past or present that features Morley in its story.
(max 30 lines)

The City and the River

Can you capture the sights, sounds and sensations of our vibrant capital city and one of its rivers in a poem? Take your readers on a journey and show or tell us your experience.

Deadline

Please submit your entries by Wednesday 8 May in the Poetry Box in the foyer, or by post.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 16 May. The winner of each category will receive a £50 book token and will be invited to receive their prize at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 23 May.
