At Morley we are on the doorstep of some of the world’s most renowned museums and theatres, ideally located to offer cultural enhancement at all levels. Our courses offer a wide range of study at all levels and seek to provide commentary and discussion on contemporary developments in the humanities and social science, as well as creative support in writing poetry.
Critical thinkers can enjoy a range of subjects including philosophy, psychology and literature, while our creative writing and poetry courses can offer budding writers the opportunity to refine and gain confidence in their writing skills, and even move towards publishing their work.
We offer qualifications in Counselling which are accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB). Whether studying at Introductory Level, which enables you to explore some of the basics of counselling, or studying for a Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies, you will be fully supported and guided as you develop counselling skills and techniques.
If you are looking to develop skills which are relevant to your work then our social science courses, which include sociology, social policy and social work, will be of particular interest to you.
Many of our courses also form a valuable platform for entry into higher education. Our one-year Access to HE Diplomas are specifically designed to help prepare students for university, with a choice of humanities, social science, social work and media studies pathways to choose from.
We also publish the Morley Review, an annual publication celebrating the intellectual life of the Humanities department and Morley in general.
