Health Studies

Whether you wish to practice a therapy for the first time, train as a professional therapist or build upon your existing experience, we have one of the most exciting and innovative course offers in the UK, with over 120 courses in more than 30 subjects for you to choose from.

Our courses in complementary medicine and other health and beauty studies will enable you to find out how to improve well-being, and counteract the many aspects of ill health and ageing.  Our wide range of movement therapy classes are suitable for all ages and stages of life and include T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Qigong and Yoga.

Our lecturers are practicing therapists who have a wealth of hands-on experience, ensuring a lively and stimulating learning environment where the emphasis is on practical skill development coupled with strong theoretical knowledge. Many of our tutors are also examiners and have specialised adult teaching qualifications. Professional training standards are given the highest priority and the College is proactive in ensuring we offer the most up-to-date qualifications.

For those wishing to undertake vocational qualifications we offer a number of City & Guilds Diplomas in complementary health and beauty, as well as a range of advanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops. However, if you are contemplating taking a complementary therapy or beauty therapy qualification and have no prior experience we recommend you try a workshop or introductory course first.
