Community Learning
Community Learning
We offer a wide range of courses within the community, in partnership with the London Borough of Lambeth and a number of local, voluntary and statutory organisations.
Our courses cover a variety of subjects ranging from literacy, music, art and dance to family learning programmes and capacity building training for community-based organisations. Each course is tailored to meet the specific needs of learners.
All our courses are FREE, and take place in community centres, children’s centres, sheltered accommodation, day centres and schools as well as onsite at Morley College itself.
As a community learner you may also have the opportunity to take a tour of the College or to exhibit work in one of our displays. You can join the College Library, visit Morley Gallery, have a lesson at the College or find out more about other courses that you may wish to study after you've finished your community-based class. Your course tutor will often organise these visits for you, but we also have a dedicated member of the Community Learning team who will be happy to show you around at a time to suit you.
We can also help you find further learning programmes at Morley and other adult education providers, if you would like to continue your studies after taking a Community Learning course.
