ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

ESOL courses give you the opportunity to improve your language skills. You will work on speaking, listening and pronunciation as well as grammar, reading and writing. We offer classes at different levels, from Entry 2 to Level 2, with the opportunity to gain a qualification at different times of the year. At Entry level, our courses include a Citizenship component and you can use your certificate to prove that you fulfil the language requirements for becoming a British citizen. We also offer an ESOL with Childcare course and an Employability Skills course. There is a course fee (which already includes the exam fee) for all ESOL courses. Some students may qualify for reductions to their course fee or may be able to apply for help with part of their fees from the College Bursary Fund.
