  • Advanced Sculpture Workshop

    A sculpture workshop for experienced sculpture students/sculptors to develop individual projects and/or work from other sculpture classes. There will be technician support for use of all workshop equipment. All workshop materials or kiln firing will be charged for in addition to the workshop fee.

  • Bronze casting

    This five day course provides an introduction to the art and techniques of lost wax bronze casting. Students will participate fully with the process, see their work cast then learn the metalwork and finishing skills to finish their bronze work.

  • Carving Gargoyles & Faces: Wood & Stone

    A 3 day workshop to create a gargoyle or face in stone or wood. Learn fundamental carving skills. Develop ideas in clay and carve in various types of limestone & wood. All levels welcome. Basic materials included.

  • Carving Stone Gargoyles

    Create a gargoyle for the house or garden in stone. Learn fundamental carving skills, which can be used in further courses at Morley. We will be developing our ideas in clay and carving in various types of limestone. This course is open to beginners and those with some experience.

  • Colour and Patinate your Sculpture

    A one day workshop introducing colour patination effects including gilding, copper patina, wax and crackle technique. Bring your fired ceramic, plaster or wood or metal sculptures to try. Basic materials included.

  • Experimental Sculpture using Recycled Materials

    Use scrap, found, traditional and alternative materials to explore and learn sculptural methods, joining techniques and concepts including kinetic, interactive and time-based work. Develop your own project with support from the tutor. Open to all levels basic materials included.

  • Exploring Sculpture Taster Workshop

    Explore sculpture 2 evenings: beginners will be introduced to and make work in clay and plaster. Experienced students from the term can use this course for extra guidance to complete projects. Basic materials included.

  • Exploring Sculpture: Beginners & Intermediate

    Develop your ideas, creativity and skills exploring different sculpture media. Beginners try clay modelling & plaster casting then choice of construction, carving wood or stone & metal techniques. Extra support for those with no previous experience. Basic materials included.
