  • Fine Art Foundation

    This part time course provides an intensive and structured programme of study in Fine Art practice. The course is designed to expand your experience, knowledge and skills and provide the opportunity to build a portfolio of work for application to higher education or other study. Enrolment for 2012-13 is now closed, however we are now interviewing for entry to this course in September 2013.   • Pre Foundation in Art

    An introduction to 2D and 3D fine art subject areas, including Painting, Drawing and Mixed Media, Printmaking and Sculpture. The emphasis is on practical project work, portfolio building and using a sketchbook. You will experiment with a wide range of materials, techniques and creative approaches to explore and develop your skills, knowledge and critical awareness. Tutors will offer support and guidance. There will be a group exhibition of work in the Landing Gallery at the end of the course. Suitable for those who wish to build up their experience or a portfolio of work for applications to art college. It will also provide an excellent preparation for the new Morley art Foundation Course, starting September 2013. This course requires tutor approval.
