Explore a wide range of textiles. Techniques and processes build and crossover during the year to form an integrated introduction to textiles. There is time within each topic to develop both the samples and finished pieces and also to develop special interests. Autumn Term: Patternmaking, textile artists' books, hand and machine embroidery. Spring Term: Feltmaking and heat transfer printing. Sumer Term: Shibor - Resist dying with indogo and knit, knot weave soft basketry.Terms may also be taken separately.
